What To Expect

There is no packed itinerary. Days are intentionally flexible so guests can enjoy outdoor activities, meaningful conversations, or quiet rest. The only consistent gathering each evening is dinner followed by Table Talk. Fly-fishing on the Bighorn River, fireside conversations, shared meals, riverside reflection, and epic landscapes form the backdrop. But what actually happens is deeper: women finally exhale, lower their guard, reconnect with God, and discover where they need to do some honest work in their lives. Every night, guests gather around the table and find clarity, connection, and the courage to act.

Women's Trips take place January through Easter at Refuge Montana:

Refuge Montana — The Bluffs Lodge at Fort Smith sits on a bluff overlooking the winding Bighorn River, with rooms for 17 guests. The lodge offers world-class fly-fishing, a wood-burning fireplace, sauna, large outdoor fire pit, and indoor and outdoor spaces designed for rest, reflection, and meaningful conversation.

Making Refuge Possible

At Refuge, we believe every leader deserves the opportunity to step away from the demands of life and leadership to rest, reconnect, and be renewed, regardless of their financial circumstances.

As a nonprofit organization, Refuge operates on a suggested donation model, with a suggested donation range of $1,495 to $3,024 per guest. The actual cost of providing each Refuge experience is approximately $3,024 per guest.

Through the generosity of our donors, partners, and ongoing fundraising efforts, we're able to bridge the financial gap and make these experiences accessible to more leaders. Our heart is that finances would never stand in the way of someone experiencing Refuge.

Every guest is welcomed and served with the same intentional hospitality, excellence, and care, regardless of their ability to donate. Because ultimately, our mission isn't about the cost of a trip. It's about keeping world changers in the game.
